The Galveston County Department of Parks & Senior Services will continue its parking sticker program to maintain a cleaner, safer and healthier beach. The charge for an annual parking sticker is $10 per calendar year. Stickers may be purchased at the Bolivar Chamber of Commerce, Beach Vendors on Bolivar, Real Estate Agencies, Convenience Stores, and Beach Parking Attendants.

2012 parking stickers are now on sale, $5 until the end of February, $10 after that. You can purchase them at the Big Store, or by mail. I do not have the new flyer yet from the Parks Department...as soon as I receive it I will post it on the website.

"Parking Stickers purchased from the Galveston Parks Department at 4102 Main Street (FM 519), La Marque, TX 77568 by mail must be accompanied by a written request along with payment and a return self addressed stamped envelope."

NOTE: The county rotates sticker colors every five years. The last time blue was used was in 2007. There were thousands of stickers left after the 2007 season, so they decided to save printing costs and re-use the older stickers. The sticker you receive will have the date 2007 with a hole punched next to the date.
